Is Pregnancy Massage Right for Me?

Your safety and comfort are always our priority. Before your first treatment, we’ll have a gentle consultation to ensure pregnancy massage is suitable for you and to understand how we can best support your body’s changing needs.

There are a few situations where we may need permission from your GP or midwife before treatment, including:

  • Very high or very low blood pressure

  • Heavy discharge or bleeding

  • Abdominal pain

  • Placental concerns (e.g., placenta previa)

  • Reduced foetal movement

  • A history of pre-eclampsia (massage not suitable)
