Frequently asked questions.
What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the session to another client.
If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the full fee for the appointment will be charged and must be paid before booking your next session.
What happens if I don’t show up for my appointment?
A missed appointment without notice is considered a no-show, and the full price of the treatment will be charged. This fee must be settled before scheduling future appointments.
What if I arrive late?
Appointment times are reserved specifically for you. If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened to avoid delaying the next client. You will still be charged the full session fee, regardless of the treatment time used. We encourage you to plan ahead and arrive on time so you can enjoy the full session.
What can I expect during my first visit?
Before your treatment begins, you’ll be asked to complete a short consultation form so we can understand your needs and tailor the session safely. You can choose to focus on specific areas or enjoy a full-body approach. You’ll undress to your underwear (in privacy) and will remain professionally draped at all times, with only the area being worked on uncovered. After the session, you’ll have a moment to relax and dress before leaving the treatment room.
What should I do after my treatment? (Aftercare Advice)
Following your session, you may feel deeply relaxed, energised, or experience temporary changes as your body rebalances.
To support your wellbeing after treatment, we recommend:
Drink plenty of water or herbal tea to help your body flush out released toxins.
Avoid strenuous exercise for the rest of the day and rest when needed.
Try to steer clear of heavy meals, spicy foods, alcohol, caffeine, smoking or stimulating drinks for at least 24 hours.
Avoid hot baths or showers straight after your massage — letting any oils stay on the skin for longer can enhance their benefits.
If essential oils with phototoxic properties were used, please avoid sunbeds or direct sun exposure as advised by your therapist.
Are after-effects normal?
Yes, some people experience natural responses as their body shifts and resets. These may include:
Feeling sleepy, deeply relaxed, or more energised
Headache or mild nausea
Cold-like symptoms
Increased thirst, urination, or sweating
Stuffy or runny nose
Mild muscle stiffness or achiness
These effects are temporary and usually ease within 24–48 hours.
